How to Identify the Oak, Elm and Plane Trees

How to Identify a Plane Tree:
Leaves: The leaves on a Plane tree are big and have three points. It is kind of like a the leaf on the flag of Canada.
Bark: The bark on the Plane tree is a lighter then most trees. It is smooth like a pebal. There is a pattern on the bark of different colours.
Size: The size of the tree is large.
Latin Name: The latin name is Platanus


How to identify a Oak Tree:
Bark: The oak tree has large trunks of bark that are very rough.
Leaves:the leaves on a Oak Tree have eight points. They are a meduim size.
Size: The size of the Oak Tree is large.
Latin Name: The latin name is Quercus


How To identify an Elm Tree:
Leaves: The leaf of an Elm Tree is small. It is shaped like a normal leaf and has points that go around it.
Bark: The bark of an Elm is small and thick. It is all over the tree.
Size: The size of the Oak Tree is Meduim.
Latin Name: The latin name is Ulmus
